THE ABBEY SCHOOL, READING. NEW STAFF ACCOMMODATION, SCIENCE LABS.

A new staff room for 83 staff is being built between the Victorian wing and science labs at The Abbey school. Further 6 new science laboratories are being constructed and refurbishing a further 6 plus 3 prep rooms, various classrooms and offices. This is being constructed in a multi-vertical phasing which allows the school to operate throughout the works. The works for refurbishment require all the existing services to be stripped out and removed and a new external paving and parking scheme. The co-ordination for this and the new lab furniture, including sourcing office furniture for the staff room, has been carried out by BH&M. BH&M are currently carrying out curriculum analysis of the school for future works to the Victorian wing and annexe.
